A contest that almost DEFIES Description! Once again, it is time for the Most Beautiful Tomato Pageant!
Special Guest Emcee and Hostess – The beautiful and talented Jacqueline Fellows from Nashville Public Radio.
Here is how it works: Take an ordinary genuine tomato, and dress, adorn, or decorate it as if it were an entrant in a beauty contest or headed to a costume party.( It helps to think of your tomato as a small, round person who is just ripe to get dressed up and go out on the town!)
Fake tomatoes will be immediately disqualified!
And remember, there may be 50 Ugly Tomatoes, but there is only 1 Beautiful One!
Divisions: Ages 10 and under, Ages 11 through 17, Ages 18 and up
Location: Clearview Fashion Show Stage
Entries: We will begin receiving contestants at 3:15pm – all entries must be in by 3:30
Judging Time: 3:30pm
Winners will be crowned and prizes awarded at 4pm.
Prizes: The winners in each category will receive ribbons and fantastic gift baskets full of gift certificates, goodies, tickets, and fun items donated by Alegria as well as other local and area merchants.
