The deadline to submit yourself or your band for consideration for the 2010 Tomato Art Fest has, sadly, passed. Thanks to all the amazing talent that submitted.

Some info about the Festival:
The Tomato Art Fest, voted “Best Festival” for the last three years by the Nashville Scene Reader’s Poll, will be held in the historic East Nashville Five Points area, which has been coined by Budget Travel Magazine as “Nashville’s version of New York’s East Village”. The festival is focused on tomato art, but also features 3 stages for musical acts. The Tomato Art Fest is a free, costume-friendly event that provides a fun-filled day for thousands.

What kind of performers are we looking for?
The Tomato Art Fest will be giving preference to Nashville-based artists, more specifically to East Nashville artists, but will welcome all submissions.  We are looking to represent a wide variety of original, family-friendly bands and/or solo artists.

What should performers expect?
The date of the festival is August 14, 2010. Each performance will be a 30-45 minute set. There is a large stage for bands and a smaller stage for acoustic or solo acts, and last year over 20 artists performed at the event. Last year’s festival saw 20,000 attendees.
