The Tomato Art Fest’s musical stages are an audible window into the latest Nashville sound. If you’re making music in Nashville, you should submit your band to the Tomato Fest. The festival draws more than 15,000 people each year.

Musical applications will be accepted through July 4, 2009, and you will be notified as soon as possible after that.

Update: Submissions are now closed. Watch for the music schedule coming soon!

Calling all artists!

The 2009 Tomato Art Fest announces its call for artists today. Art & Invention Gallery, founder of the Tomato Art Fest, hosts the annual tomato art show in conjunction with the Tomato Art Fest each year. If you’d like to be a part of this fun, funky festival, now’s the time!

We make it easy to submit your application. Just download the application, include some samples of your current artwork [tomato theme not required for application pieces], and send it in by July 1! Then, get your tomato ideas ready…the art show is right around the corner.

Early-bird vendor deadline: May 15

We know it’s right around the corner — so we’re not going to delay in getting the vendor information to you! Over the past five years, the vendor area at the Tomato Art Fest has really grown. If you sell crafts, art, tomato wares, East Nashville stuff or tasty treats, you must be a part of the Tomato Fest bazaar this August 8.
