The Tomato Art Fest Recipe Contest returns for a very special Olympic edition of the contest! — In honor of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, the category was, "World Tour with Tomatoes". The judging is done and the scores are in. There was only a six-point scoring difference between the top three finalists, and the winning recipe is featured on the Margot Cafe menu all Tomato Art Fest weekend! …Go eat it right now!

Tomato Recipe Contest Community Ambassadors 


FIRST PLACE

Representing Greece, this year’s Tomato Recipe Contest winner is Beth Finch with her Greek Gremista with Roasted Potatoes and Onions and Greek Horiatiki Salata, a savory beef and lamb-stuff tomato dish. Beth’s winning recipe will be featured at Margot Cafe and Bar on Saturday, August 10th. 

RUNNER-UP

Representing Peru, this year’s runner-up is Bruce Pittman with his Causa Rellena Olympic Ring, a delectable combination of Peruvian potato cakes with chicken, cucumber, and tomato. The presentation was on point and duly noted by the judges!

HONORABLE MENTION

Representing both Vietnam and France, an honorable mention goes to Dave Cappel and Megan Bennett for their Tomato Banh Mi. This recipe featured chicken liver pate and “Our friend Brooke’s Mome’s pickled green tomatoes”, which caught the attention (and palettes) of our judges.
