Accessibility Services

There are is an Information Tent location conveniently located near the center of 5 points to support and address the needs of all attendees with accessibility needs.

At our Information Tent, you can charge items and ask a team tomato member for directions.

Gates are open from 9am - 7pm

Mobility Disabilities

We encourage patrons with mobility disabilities to utilize personal forms of transportation, including wheelchairs and scooters. Crutches, walkers and canes are also permitted.

Guests can order mobile scooters for the day from Scootaround with the following link: Mobile Wheel Chair Link. All rentals are between the customer and Scootaround, the festival is not responsible.

Accessible Routes

Please be advised that the venue’s terrain is concrete. Guests will need to traverse throughout the festival grounds between stages independently or with the assistance of a companion as the festival does not provide transportation between stages. Be aware that between the further points of the festival site may require a quarter-mile traverse in direct sunlight. If you need assistance finding your most accessible route around the event, please visit us at the Information Tent.

Charging

If you need to recharge your motorized wheelchair or other medical equipment, you may do so at the Information Tent.

  • Bring all cords and accessories needed to charge your devices.

  • Chargers must use a 110-volt, 20 amp circuit.

Directions

From the I-24 Freeway:

  • Exit at Shelby Ave. and travel East

  • Left on 11th St.

  • Look for neighborhood parking

Verifications

To utilize Accessible Parking throughout East Nashville, you must have:

  • Disabled Person Parking placard, permit or license plate.

  • DMV-issued documentation that accompanies the Disabled Person Parking placard, permit or license, and corresponding ID.

  • Documentation will be verified by law enforcement.

  • The person to whom the placard, permit or license plate is issued in the vehicle.

It is against the law to park in an accessible parking space without the required credentials or to fraudulently use credentials in order to gain access to Accessible Parking.

Rideshare & Loading + Unloading

Pick up and drop off will be on Forest Ave.

Dietary Needs

Tomato Art Fest will have food vendors that provide gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan dietary options.

Service Animals

Service animals are permitted throughout the festival. Please remember that it is typically hot in August and plan accordingly for your animal companion. We do not provide pet cooling stations.

Medical

Fully-equipped medical sites staffed by trained personnel are onsite to manage any issue. There is a first aid tent near the info booth for simple needs (band-aid, sunscreen etc) and and EMT tent in the Parking lot at the corner of 11th and Woodland street.

Additional Service Requests

Good Neighbor Festivals will consider any request by an attendee with a disability for reasonable modification of its policies, practices or procedures or for auxiliary aids and services that will permit the attendee equal enjoyment of the goods and services offered at the Festival. We encourage you to make any such request as far in advance as possible to enhance our ability to evaluate and fulfill the request.
