Tomato Art Fest Haiku Contest

HAIKU /ˈhaɪ ku/ (noun)  an unrhymed verse form of Japanese origin having three lines containing usually five, seven, and five syllables respectively.

Add a Tomato twist and enter the contest! 

Submit a tomato-related haiku in classic 5-7-5 style. Snag some pretty sweet prizes.  

Winners are announced at Tomato Art Fest in person on Saturday August 10th.

This contest is free to enter and judges accept up to 5 entries per person.  This year’s categories are listed below- 

  • Heirlooms (ages 17+)

  • Greenhouse (ages 16 & under)

  • Funnies (humor)

  • Oddities (limerick, sonnet, freeform, anything under 200 words)

When: Submit entries by Thursday, August 8th at 12 pm. Winners’ poems will be read aloud on Saturday, August 10th at 10:45 am
